On Friday, Commissioner Jon Young will be sworn in as the president of the New Jersey Association of Counties. NJAC is a non-partisan organization that advocates for legislation, regulations and policy directives that empower county governments to operate more effectively and efficiently.
“As we embark on a new year with a changing landscape, I am ready to lead NJAC as we navigate strategies to serve our respective communities,” Young said. “After three years of hardship due to the pandemic, I think this year will allow us a bit more breathing room to bring some focus back to the places we live and get back to work on the issues that we debated prior to pandemic. Together, we will continue working on making our counties more affordable and ensuring they remain the special places to live that we cherish as public servants.”
