Our members are essential employees who are working through the COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) health crisis. The skilled work our members perform for medical and emergency facilities are important to keep our country moving forward. The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America with the help of staff at the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters and the Training Funds understood the need for updated training for our members in these unprecedented times.
Together, all parties developed a new qualification to educate members on methods to better protect themselves while on the job site. The new “COVID-19 Preparedness Qualification” and new “ICRA: Best Practices Awareness” online courses are available online for our members to be ready and better qualified for the work our country needs.
