Workers are being exploited in the Virginia construction industry. The Commonwealth’s Elected Leaders need to step up and help prevent this at the General Assembly Building, where irresponsible contractors and labor brokers have been hired who use wage theft to profit off of workers. This is the building where laws are passed and the people of Virginia’s best interest should be fought for. How can our elected leaders say they want to represent us when they allow contractors who use wage theft work at the General Assembly Building.   Tell the Department of General Services to use responsible contractors at the General Assembly Building and future public projects.
