As a longtime news anchor at WGAL-TV 8, Janelle Stelson (Democrat – 10th Congressional District – all of Dauphin County as well as parts of Cumberland County and York County) has consistently focused on critical issues facing the people of Central Pennsylvania, from saving factory jobs to solving elderly homeowners’ rodent problems. Janelle has repeatedly been named “Best News Anchor” and her 11 PM show has consistently boasted the highest ratings in the region. Janelle’s reporting has taken her to places close and far from home. She would report on the local news including Jubilee Day in Mechanicsburg or a monster truck rally at the Gratz Fair, but also be on the frontlines in Kosovo or reporting from New York City right after the September 11th terrorist attacks.

In Congress, Janelle looks to replace a far-right Congressman who has repeatedly voted against carpenters’ values, including prevailing wage, and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Janelle has visited the Lebanon, PA training center and learned not only about the many crafts carpenters learn, but the issues she needs to fight for while in Congress.
