John Hagaman is a 30-year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, having joined in 1997 with Local 623, now Local 255. For nearly two decades he has been on staff, beginning as a Council Representative in 2007, later promoted to Senior Council Representative, and in 2025 being appointed Regional Manager.
As Regional Manager, John oversees work in the Casino/Industrial Maintenance, Mill Cabinet, and Tradeshow sectors across New Jersey, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and Pennsylvania.
John currently serves as a Trustee for the Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Benefit Funds, the Local 491 Funds, and the Carpenter Contractor Trust., helping oversee benefit programs and strengthen partnerships that support union members and contractors.
Born and raised in Galloway Township, New Jersey, John graduated in 1996 and became a carpenter immediately following high school.
John has been married to his wife, Nicole, since 1998 and they reside in Mullica Township, New Jersey where they raised their three children, Morgan, Madison, and Johnny Jr., and in 2024 he proudly became a grandfather to Maisyn Jane.
