John L. Del Sordi, Jr.

Regional Manager – Millwrights

John has held appointed and elected positions within the Carpenters Union since 1999, and since 2022 has been Regional Manager of the Millwright Division at the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (EASRCC). John supervises multiple local unions within the Millwright Division, ensuring the enforcement and negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, contract administration, and grievance processing, and efficiently coordinates council directives and implements strategic goals.

He is the past Assistant Executive Secretary-Treasurer and Regional Director at the Eastern Millwright Regional Council. John is a product of the Joseph J. D’Aries Carpenters Training Center apprenticeship program, graduating in 1989. Alongside his carpentry education, he possesses skills in budgeting, financial analysis, strategic marketing tactics, and public speaking.

John resides in Scotch Plains, NJ with his family. John is involved in local and county politics and has been an active member of the Scotch Plains, NJ community for more than 35 years. He and his wife Mariangela have three children and a granddaughter.
