Michael Regan

Organizing Director

Michael Regan is a 21-year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, having joined in 2005 with Local 1419, now known as Local 423. He currently serves as Director of Organizing for the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters (EASRCC), overseeing organizing efforts across the entire council. Prior to his current position, Michael served as Senior Council Representative.

Michael is Vice President of Local 423, serves as a Local Delegate, and is a member of the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council Executive Board. He previously served for five years on the Council Trial Board and co-chairs his Local’s Mentorship Committee. Michael also sits on multiple advisory boards for County Technical Centers across central and western Pennsylvania and is an active participant in the Eastern Atlantic States Training Fund subcommittee. He volunteers with numerous community organizations and grassroots initiatives that advocate for working families, including JARI, the Alternative Community Resource Program (ACRP), and various union-sponsored community events.

Michael resides in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, with his wife Valerie. They have shared 26 years of marriage and together they raised three daughters, Felicity, Kallista, and Liberty, who are now building families of their own.
