Repeal So-Called “Right-to-Work”

Pass HB 1755

There is opportunity in Virginia to finally repeal the so-called “Right-to-Work” law that has harmed union and non-union workers for decades. So-called “Right-to-Work” laws are explicitly designed to weaken unions and worker representation on the job by allowing non-union member employees to receive all the benefits a union brings without paying their fair share to the cause. This law in Virginia has been designed to provide an unfair advantage to employers and defund the unions looking to defend Virginia workers.

In 2016 Virginia voters overwhelmingly voted no to making “Right-to-Work” part of the Commonwealth’s Constitution. Since then more and more pro-labor candidates have been elected and the time is now to listen to the will of the Virginia voters and repeal so-called “Right-to-Work” in Virginia. Do your part, add your voice, and send a message to your elected officials that we need to pass HB 1755 now!
