9/11 – 20th Anniversary Commemorative March of the Recovery Workers

This September 11th will mark the 20th Anniversary of the horrific terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, a day in which Americans will never forget. On Sunday, September 12th of 2021, our partners at HEART 9/11 are inviting participants for the Commemorative March of the Recovery Workers. HEART 9/11 is a team of first responders that bonded in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. Together, we build resiliency and provide hope for individuals, families and communities that have been affected by natural and man-made disasters.

 

Additional details of the Commemorative March:

  • March begins at 7:30am
  • All first responders and building trades members invited
  • North Moore and Greenwich Street south to the Oculus Plaza
  • Chairman: Gary LaBarbera – President of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Greater NY • Co-Chair: Louis J. Coletti – President, and CEO of the Building Trades Employers Association (BTEA)
